The canopy is crafted in Dralon/Dupont Teflon coated waterproof acrylic. Two self -locking pulleys and a pin hold the umbrella open. The aluminum frame is painted an anthracite grey. The canopy is fade, water, oil, and dirt repellent for years of use. The aluminum frame and the nylon components are rough epoxy lacquered.
